Spending lots of money in Cardiff

This week, I visited the wonderful city of Cardiff with Ollie for the first time and I can confidently say: I’m a big fan. Cardiff is super lovely and perfect for a shopping trip..so that’s what we did!

I had some ideas on my wishlist before I got there and I was super chuffed to be able to find them all in one afternoon!

I finally own a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans that I love! Perfect for a chilled, slouched, cool look, and I did not expect to find this perfect pair where I did…Hollister! I’m not a regular Hollister shopper at all (and have to admit that we only strolled in because of the LUSH smell of the store) but there they were! £42 later and I’m very very happy with possibly my first ever Hollister purchase.

Next…my much-wanted and now-loved white tennis trainers. Inspired by Ollie’s Adidas Stan Smiths (which I have to say I wasn’t a fan of to start with) I’m now a big lover of these  trainers, especially when put with quite smart pieces like cigarette trousers. I’m a big lover of that look at the moment. But with Stan Smith’s at a bit of an eye-watering price for me, Mango offered an uncanny replica at a much nicer £35.

And now a basic but a great basic. A simple black and white striped sweatshirt. I bought it with the vision of pairing it with my new boyfriend jeans, but I’m finding new ways to wear it and it’s great. This was my outfit for  breakfast in Cardiff and then the three hour car journey home-cigarette trousers and travel case from River Island, Mango trainers and khaki wool coat from PrettyLittleThing.com

I also purchased a gorgeous pair of pointed lace up shoes from River Island-of which the picture of is in the pipeline!

Cardiff: Thank you.
